Hospital Indemnity Plans
Hospital Indemnity Insurance pays a predetermined amount for each day that an insured is in the hospital. Benefit period, elimination period, benefit amount, triggers, and coordination with other insurance or benefits vary by policy.
Hospital indemnity Insurance protects assets from the cost of hospital care that can be very expensive. Extensive care can deplete an individual’s resources or force an unexpected and problematic reduction in savings or retirement benefits.
